Bethsaida Home Care Services: Services
There is a wide range of services available from both the local council and also from private homecare agencies who are dedicated to providing those in need with the correct levels of help and support they need. These services do vary - anything from a minimum of two hours up to continuous twenty-four hour care. They cover various areas such as personal care, respite, domestic and social care, household duties, shopping etc. - in fact anything the patient may need.
The patient can also expect daily or live-in help to be carried out by trained carers or by qualified nurses where required. The overall aim is to enable patients to have a high standard of care and to improve their quality of life whilst remaining in the comfort of their own homes. If you believe you would benefit from this type of assistance then you can contact your local care agency who will then assess your needs.

WE CARE FOR . . . THE OLDER PERSON Bethsaida appreciates that all individuals have a right to privacy and confidentiality, they also have a right to make their own decisions and choices. The older person has a right to have a quality of life that can be enjoyed for as long as possible. Our Health care assistants are trained, to meet all our clients needs.
THE PHYSICALLY DISABLED Our sensitive, caring team can offer the motivation, support and encouragement needed to maintain as much independence as possible. We understand the need to be listened to, to have wishes and options considered, and to be able to make one`s own decisions. Even in the face of severe disability we can help the client live a useful and enjoyable life.
LEARNING DISABILITY Bethsaida offers practical help with daily activities, help with teaching and stimulation to enable the individual to develop new abilities to improve their quality of life. All of our staff receive training in learning disabilities. Many have had experience in the care of a person with challenging behaviour.
